The really good prompt response to Problems
The really good prompt response to problems - a small one made by me while ordering multiple lots of cheese for Christmas presents and a big one to due the courier confusing an Edinburgh postcode with a Bath postcode! The reaction to solving these problems was excellent.
The cheese is wonderful too.

would be 0 star if it was available, because they have ticked no boxes at all.
Christmas cheese not delivered on very pre-arranged date. 3 phone calls on delivery day before Christmas, to people who would "get back to me" and didn't. No continuity between phone calls, so re-explaining the situation repeatedly. Until I call again and am told everyone's gone home and that's that until after Christmas.
Called since Christmas - told it would be passed on and I would be called back. I haven't been.
Emailed - no answer.

Unfortunately this is not the first Christmas where the order has been late and communication poor, though I have been able to rescue those situations myself by picking up from depots, and I thought I would be nice and give them another chance... but the company has demonstrated they don't deserve chances, or frankly customers.

I ordered £59 worth of cheese crackers…
I ordered £59 worth of cheese crackers and jams made it up as a gift when my husband opened them up 3 was out of date and the other two only had a couple of days left on it . the made by date was October I recieved them 3rd December , I tried phoning it’s like a dead tone so I emailed numerous of times but I haven’t had any response , my husband is a cheese lover so I thought I’d order as he loves smelly cheese but if you don’t have at least 5 days grace on the cheese then that’s not right for the money you pay , unless we get refunded by cheese that’s in date we won’t be subscribing to your subscription which would of been nice as he’s got a subscription with waithwaites wine company

Appalling customer service when things go wrong…
I can’t see that I will ever use Pong again.
I placed an order for a large cheese selection to be delivered before Christmas, and the delivery never happened. This was really frustrating, and meant I had to do an emergency hunt for other cheese just before Christmas. Very annoying, but these things can happen. The reason for the 1 star review is the appalling customer service I have received since then.
When I phoned before Christmas there was nobody in the office other than the receptionist, which meant no one could chase up the delivery company.
I had one response to me emails between Christmas and new year offering to resend the cheese - not very helpful when Christmas was over.
After several more unanswered emails I was offered a credit note, which is a joke. It is now 48 hours since I have last heard from Pong, and I am still waiting for the refund that should have been automatic.
The customer service is appalling, when things go wrong there is no attempt to resolve the situation, and complete silence from them. Avoid.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. Received an out of date Banon (by nearly a month!) and no reply to my two emails as of yet. Very disappointed as rest of the cheese was great but not willing to give more business to a company who ignores me.
Updated 09/01/23 : Pong cheese have been in contact now and refunded the cheese so I decided to up my rating.

Poor Customer Service
I placed an order for Christmas delivery. The order arrived on time but the Cheddar cheese was very moldy. Prior to leaving this review I sent two emails to the company on this subject but as yet I have had no response hence the rating. Shame as the other cheese was very good but quite disappointing not to get any response to my complaint.

This company is AMAZING.....I have to say that I am completely impressed with the very high level of customer service and care offered by the team at Pong Cheese. It is rare to experience such immediacy and responsiveness these days. They were extremely prompt in resolving a recent issue, even though it was clearly not the company's fault, and were more than generous in attitude and gesture. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Thank you. Cheryl

Excellent customer service
Sadly, my Christmas order was badly effected by the Royal Mail strikes so arrived over a week and a half later with the box damaged and the cheese well and truly ponging! The lovely people at Pong are resending the entire package again at no additional charge. Super efficient customer service, well done!

Xmas let down and premium rate help line!
Let down for a Xmas delivery. Paid extra for guaranteed delivery on a specific day. Did not arrive.

No replies to emails from Pong. Courier said waiting to receive item, yet pong site said all delivered.

Had to phone Pong. They have set up a premium rate phone number (£2 for 7 mins), this was the only way to find anything out.

Nothing was resolved, nothing was delivered, Pong refused to refund the call charges.

Won't be able to give them another chance as it seems to petty not to refund the premium rate call charges when so many of my emails went unanswered.

Update: And as said in my unanswered reply to your apology, it you didn't use a premium rate number for your help line, mobile networks wouldn't be adding extra charges. What exactly is the reasoning behind using a number that mobile networks charge extra for, who is this benefiting? Not you, and certainly not me.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I ordered through Pong previously and had some great cheese delivered on time. This year, I ordered on the 24th November for delivery on the 22nd December. I was informed it despatched on Monday 19th December but it didn't arrive so I sent a polite request for an update. I got a message back saying that I should be patient because it's complex logistically. It's now Christmas Eve and I have no cheese. It's not the end of the world but money has been taken, a contract has been entered into by both parties. Now Pong and DX their carrier (who apparently are doing better than other couriers) are closed for Christmas and are unable to assist until Wednesday 28th, nearly a week after the cheese should have been delivered. If you are unable to fulfil your side of a contract don't accept it.

Poor packaging
I ordered some cheeses for Christmas and they arrived on the chosen date but the package was burst open. Fortunately the cheeses somehow survived but for £50 I was a bit underwhelmed. I sent a photo of the package to Pong but they haven’t bothered to reply. Not a good advert for customer service or how they perceive their business.

Excellent service
Have used Pong in the past and have always had excellent service as well as excellent cheese. I was a bit worried this year that my order would not reach the person in time for Christmas due to postal strike but was assured that it would as they use other couriers. Many thanks Pong
